These types of scams get you to believe that you are going to
receive some GREAT GIFT! that has remained unclaimed by another person.
Typically such things are sent back to the shipper. The catch is you have
to provide MONEY to have the thing shipped, if it were not a scam you could make
shipping arrangements of your own to retrieve the item. This
is the modern day version of the scam which was done in shopping mall parking
lots, where a 'courier' has been refused payment for merchandise and if he does
not sell it, he could be fired...loose money or some other believable
excuse. The difference today is the scammer not only gets you money, but
may also get your identity and ruin your credit.
